The color range
See the stone before you choose
Every swatch is a photo of the real stone. Darker blends absorb more heat, so choose lighter stone for sun-exposed seating and barefoot areas.

Step 2 of 3
We look at the site
Resin bound can go over new or existing concrete or tarmac, or onto a suitable porous sub-base.
-
Step 3 of 3
Mixed, laid and troweled
Resin and stone are mixed in a forced-action mixer, then hand-troweled to a smooth finish known as a stone carpet.
Drainage
No more puddles.
There are small gaps between the stones, so rain passes through the surface and into the ground beneath instead of running off. Laid on a suitable permeable sub-base, resin bound is a SuDS-compliant surface.
That means fewer puddles and wet shoes at your door, and less runoff to add to flood risk in town and country alike.

Does resin bound stone drain water?
Yes. Small gaps between the stones let rain pass through the surface into the ground beneath, so water does not pool on top. Full drainage depends on a permeable base beneath the surface. Laid on a suitable permeable sub-base, it is a SuDS-compliant surface.
Can you snowplow resin bound stone?
Resin Rock states that its surfaces are designed to withstand snowplowing and routine winter maintenance. The surface is also frost resistant and slip resistant.
Can it be installed over my existing driveway?
Resin bound surfacing can be installed over new or existing concrete or tarmac, or onto a suitable porous sub-base. Request a quote and we will look at your site.
What maintenance does it need?
Resin Rock recommends leaf blowing and watering the surface down every fall and spring to remove dirt, plus a professional clean-and-seal package every 5 years. Shaded areas can collect algae, so clean them seasonally.
